Will I have my period in early pregnancy?

The early stage of pregnancy is a very special stage. If the pregnant mother is not well cared for during this period, miscarriage may occur. Women will stop menstruating after pregnancy, and it will take a long time after giving birth for them to start their menstrual period. If you have your period during pregnancy, it is definitely abnormal. So, will you have your period in the early stages of pregnancy?

Generally speaking, the first sign of a woman's pregnancy is amenorrhea. Under normal circumstances, women will not have their periods again after they become pregnant. A married or conjugal woman with a regular menstrual cycle should think of the possibility of pregnancy if her menstruation is delayed, but this is not certain. There are very few women who still experience vaginal bleeding at the time of their next menarche after becoming pregnant. This type of menstruation after pregnancy is called "pregnancy menstruation." Its characteristics are less bleeding, lighter color, shorter duration, and different from all previous menstrual periods. In fact, this is not a real menstrual period. This condition usually occurs within 3 months of pregnancy and usually only occurs once. Some pregnant women also experience it 2 to 3 times.

1. Because the embryo implantation is not stable, the embryo has not been produced, and it is close to or on the day of menstruation, a perfect egg cell will be discharged, and then fall out of the body along the uterine wall, which leads to a small number of pregnant women thinking that they are having their period.

2. Due to individual differences and other reasons, some women's uterus and ovaries secrete relatively low levels of estrogen, especially progesterone, after pregnancy, causing a small part of the uterine wall to continue to fall off. Therefore, these women will still have their periods after pregnancy, but the amount of menstruation will be much less than in the normal stage. Until three months after pregnancy, the embryo is produced, and the female hormones and estrogen in the woman's body remain at a relatively high level. At this time, the uterine wall no longer falls off, and the menstrual period no longer comes.

What should pregnant women pay attention to during pregnancy

1. When a pregnant woman's hand touches ice, the blood vessels in the uterus will contract, and the blood circulation of the fetus will be relatively poor, affecting its growth. Therefore, pregnant women should eat less ice cream and popsicles. As for cold food, as long as it is placed at room temperature above 10 degrees Celsius, it will be fine.

2. If you smoke during the first three months of pregnancy, it may increase the chance of your baby having cleft lip or cleft palate. If you smoke during pregnancy or often inhale secondhand smoke, your baby may have learning difficulties or behavioral problems in the future.

3. If you blindly think that pregnancy will cause deficiency of Qi and blood, and blindly follow the trend of taking food supplements such as pungent and hot tonic foods such as ginseng, it will be like adding fuel to the fire, which will inevitably cause a sudden increase in internal heat and excessive blood heat. In severe cases, it may cause threatened abortion, or delay the delivery process and cause dystocia for pregnant women.

4. Basically, except for a few high-risk pregnancies (such as placenta previa, antenatal bleeding, spontaneous abortion, incomplete cervical closure), sexual intercourse is allowed during the entire pregnancy period. During the process of intercourse, if the pregnant woman experiences obvious contraction of the uterus, abnormal bleeding, severe lower abdominal pain, etc., she should stop having sex and see a doctor as soon as possible. Condoms should be worn during intercourse to reduce vaginal inflammation, cervical inflammation and early rupture of amniotic fluid.

5. There is not enough data to prove the effects of radio waves emitted by microwave ovens, mobile phones, computers, etc. on the fetus, which may affect the health of the test tube embryo and the fetus. However, if pregnant women's work requires long-term exposure to the threat of radio waves, appropriate protective measures are still necessary, such as using anti-radio protective clothing to reduce exposure time and opportunity.
