Stay away from bad habits and protect your teeth

It is said that toothache is not a disease, but it can be fatal. I guess many people have experienced this feeling, which seriously affects our lives and work. Therefore, oral health is an important part of overall health. The two affect each other and are inseparable. Let's take a look at what bad habits we should abandon to protect our teeth.

1. Not brushing your teeth carefully

The main reason is that the brushing method is wrong and the duration is not enough. The key to brushing teeth is to master the correct brushing method. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and brush every tooth surface. Brush your teeth for at least 3 minutes each time. Change your toothbrush every 3 months. It is recommended to brush your teeth in the morning and evening, rinse your mouth after meals, remove food residues in the mouth, and keep the mouth clean and hygienic.

2. Use teeth to open hard objects

Many people use their teeth to open bottle caps and tear packaging bags for convenience. Biting hard objects with teeth can easily lead to loose teeth, cracked teeth, or even split teeth. Cracked teeth often lead to caries. Loose teeth make it easier for bacteria to invade the periodontal ligament and alveolar bone, leading to gingival inflammation and eventually separation of the gums from the teeth. After middle age or old age, teeth gradually become necrotic and fall off, and it is too late to remedy them.

3. Often stay up late

Nowadays, young people often work overtime and stay up all night to watch TV series. Frequent staying up late and excessive fatigue will cause the body's resistance to decline, and the balance of various bacteria in the mouth will be disturbed, resulting in oral problems. Especially when eating midnight snacks while staying up late, food residues will be decomposed by bacteria to produce a large amount of acidic substances and toxins that are harmful to teeth or gums, causing tooth decay and gingivitis.

4. Eating hot and spicy food frequently

Often drinking boiling water and eating spicy hot pot. These bad eating habits will cause harm to teeth and mucous membranes. The stimulation of hot, spicy and hard foods on oral mucosa is the main cause of oral problems such as ulcers, white spots and tooth sensitivity.
