After autumn

This wind is the autumn wind

But the sun still seems to be the summer sun

A bit "venomous"

What I want to say is

Autumn weather turns sunny and dry

High UV index

During military training or on the way to get off work

Sun protection is still important

(Don’t get sunburned in the fall…)

1. Sun protection is very important in autumn

Sunscreen mainly protects against the "ultraviolet rays" in sunlight . Studies have found that ultraviolet rays can cause skin photoaging problems such as fine lines and spots. Ultraviolet rays of different wavelengths (UVA, UVB) also affect skin darkening. If UVA and UVB are present at the same time, the skin will darken faster.

Long-term neglect of sun protection may lead to or aggravate skin diseases such as solar dermatitis. Ultraviolet rays are even clearly correlated with the occurrence of many skin tumors. Since many of the effects of ultraviolet rays on the skin are cumulative, long-term neglect of sun protection will gradually cause these adverse effects to accumulate, leading to more serious skin problems.

Many people insist on sun protection in summer, but relax their vigilance in autumn. In autumn, there are many sunny days, and the clouds are thin. Ultraviolet rays pass through the clouds and directly shine on the skin, which can easily cause damage. In addition to darkening the skin, it can also cause fine lines, spots, solar dermatitis and other skin aging and inflammation problems.

2. Precautions for sunburn prevention

Sunburn, also known as solar dermatitis, is an acute phototoxic reaction of the skin caused by strong sunlight exposure. Studies have shown that people who do not often receive sun exposure may develop solar dermatitis if they are exposed to direct sunlight for about an hour without any protection.

01.How to prevent sunburn?

1. It is recommended to avoid outdoor activities during the period of strong sunlight (10 am to 4 pm).

2. Pay attention to sun protection, such as applying sunscreen, wearing a hat, wearing long-sleeved clothes, etc.

3. While taking sun protection measures, it is recommended not to stay in the sun for more than 2 hours.

4. If you take a sea bath, wash your whole body with warm water and gentle toiletries after getting out of the water.

02. What should I do if I have been sunburned?

1. You can use a wet towel to cool the affected area to relieve pain and discomfort, and avoid further sun exposure.

2. Blisters are prone to form after sunburn. Small blisters can be absorbed on their own, but large blisters require timely medical treatment.

3. If you feel pain or itching, do not scratch with your hands to avoid secondary injury and infection.

4. If you experience severe systemic sunlight allergic reactions such as headache, nausea, vomiting, etc., please seek medical attention immediately.

3. How should you perform daily skin care in autumn?

It is recommended to use warm water to clean the skin , once in the morning and once in the evening. After applying sunscreen, cosmetics, etc., you need to pay attention to cleaning, especially the nose and forehead, but do not over-clean. Excessive cleaning will lead to more oil secretion, dryness on the outside and water-oil imbalance, and even skin flora imbalance leading to inflammatory skin diseases.

After cleansing, you should spray lotion and apply moisturizing cream to restore the skin's sebum membrane structure and maintain normal pH. You should also choose the appropriate moisturizer according to the season and skin characteristics. For example, in autumn and winter or for dry skin, oily ointments and creams are suitable, while in spring and summer or for oily skin, more refreshing products such as gels and gels are suitable.

In terms of daily sun protection, in addition to avoiding outdoor activities during the strongest UV period, physical and chemical sun protection should also be taken into consideration. Sunscreen should be made of textiles with a UV protection factor greater than 25 and a UV transmittance less than 5% . Sunscreen should be selected according to different environments. Even indoors, sunscreen should be applied if you are near a window or balcony.
