What are the signs of ectopic pregnancy?

Ectopic pregnancy is relatively dangerous, so for female friends of childbearing age, it is necessary to understand the signs of ectopic pregnancy so that they can discover it in time and take timely treatment measures to reduce the harm. If amenorrhea or vaginal bleeding occurs, they should be vigilant.

1. Signs of ectopic pregnancy: If a pregnant woman has sudden severe lower abdominal pain and bleeding, while considering abortion, she should also be careful about ectopic pregnancy. If the pregnancy has been going on for more than 30 days, the urine test is positive, the ultrasound does not show the oocyst, but blood congestion is found in the uterus, the possibility of ectopic pregnancy cannot be ruled out. It is best to do a quantitative test, including a blood test of leucorrhea and erythrocyte sedimentation rate, to see if the quantitative indicators have reached the range of ectopic pregnancy. If so, then ectopic pregnancy can be confirmed.

2. Will there be menstruation during ectopic pregnancy? Vaginal bleeding is one of the most typical symptoms of ectopic pregnancy and it may be mistaken for menstruation. However, when there is vaginal bleeding, a pregnancy test may be positive. Therefore, it is unreliable to judge whether there is an ectopic pregnancy based on whether menstruation occurs or not. To judge ectopic pregnancy, you must consider the pregnancy symptoms, examinations, and test results together. The most reliable thing is to go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination.

3. Can you still get pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy? You can still get pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy, but you need to pay attention to recuperation for a period of time and take care to prevent the recurrence of ectopic pregnancy.

4. Will ectopic pregnancy definitely cause bleeding? Most ectopic pregnancies have symptoms of vaginal bleeding, accompanied by abdominal pain. However, it also depends on the specific location. If it is on the fallopian tube, ovary, or even other organs in the abdominal cavity, there will be irregular small amounts of bleeding during menstruation (which can easily be mistaken for normal menstruation). When it ruptures (usually caused by strenuous exercise), blood flows into the abdominal cavity, causing severe pain in the lower abdomen and even nausea. If it is in the uterus and cervix, menstrual bleeding is rare, but there will be heavy bleeding in the vagina when it ruptures.
