Long-term contraceptive methods without an IUD

IUD is a common contraceptive method for women. However, due to people's physical condition, many people don't like to wear it. But what other contraceptive methods are there? In normal daily life, a large part of the reason why single women show unhealthy symptoms is due to incorrect selection of contraceptive methods. Therefore, if you are accustomed to having sex, you should ensure good contraceptive methods.

Condoms can prevent semen from entering the vagina and have the effect of preventing pregnancy. In China, they have always been used as a special tool for contraception, and the name of condoms also comes from this. Condoms can separate semen and female secretions, preventing the blood of both parties from contacting each other during sexual intercourse, and are therefore also used to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. When AIDS first became prevalent, there was no vaccine or special medicine, and our country, where sexual freedom was prevalent, had no way to change people's unhealthy sex lives. All we could do was attach great importance to the use of condoms to alleviate the spread of AIDS. When condoms are used properly, they can reduce the chance of being infected with HIV during high-risk sexual behavior, but there is still a very high error rate.

The advantage of emergency contraception taken daily by women with short-acting contraceptive pills is that the actual contraceptive effect is the most satisfactory (the failure rate of IUDs is twice that of emergency contraception) and the side effects are relatively small. Current scientific research also shows that birth control pills are effective in preventing endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer, and do not increase the incidence of breast cancer. Its main drawback is the impact on the endocrine system, which may increase the incidence of cardiovascular disease, increased blood sugar, and venous thrombosis. In addition, it is inconvenient to use it every day, and it is easy to miss a dose, leading to accidental pregnancy.

There are many kinds of contraceptive methods for women, but different people should pay attention to choosing the contraceptive method that suits them. In particular, those who frequently change sexual partners are advised to use condoms as much as possible, which can greatly reduce the chance of contracting sexually transmitted diseases and other infectious diseases. For emergency contraception, try not to take it habitually.
