Drugs can cure diseases but can also cause diseases. Pay attention to scientific and rational use of drugs.

Medicine is a double-edged sword, which can both cure diseases and cause diseases. Safety and effectiveness are the basic principles of medication. You should take medicine according to the doctor's instructions and never take medicine indiscriminately according to your own ideas.

Ø Scientific medication sequence

Try not to use medicine if you can, take fewer medicines if you can, avoid injections if you can take oral medicines, and avoid intravenous infusions if you can get injections.

Ø Pay attention to adverse reactions

Read the instructions carefully before taking the medicine, and remember the usage, dosage and precautions told by the doctor. Especially those who are engaged in driving, high-altitude operations, important target duty, and major tasks should pay more attention to the effects of the medicine on the body and tasks.

Ø Do not take medication arbitrarily

Some people worry about getting sick, so they buy a lot of medicine on their own. Others believe rumors and buy a lot of tonics and health products. In fact, these are unnecessary.

Ø Take medicine scientifically and on time

Take the medicine twice a day, 12 hours apart; take the medicine 3 times a day, 8 hours apart; take the medicine 4 times a day, 6 hours apart. Do not take the medicine too frequently, at least 4 hours apart.

Painkillers should be taken when pain occurs, and antipyretics should be taken when the fever is above 38.5℃.

Take it before bed, 15-30 minutes before bedtime; take it before meals, 30-60 minutes before meals; take it after meals, 15-30 minutes after meals.

Ø Understand how to use medication

Sustained-release tablets, sugar-coated tablets, and capsules should not be broken apart for consumption.

When applying eye drops, you should lie flat or tilt your head back, press the inner corner of the eye with your fingers for 3-5 minutes to prevent the drops from flowing into the nasal cavity, close your eyes and rotate your eyeballs 1-2 circles to disperse the medicine.

Ø Other medication instructions

Health products and foods cannot replace medicines.

Alcohol, tea and medicine cannot be taken together.

If you have a history of allergy to drugs such as penicillin and sulfonamide, be sure to tell your doctor when you see a doctor.

The course of treatment must not be shortened or extended at will. For example, for the treatment of bacterial and viral infections, the course of treatment is shorter, and generally it is continued for 3 days after the symptoms of infection disappear and the fever subsides to ensure complete cure.
