Many mothers have been preparing a maternity bag throughout their pregnancy. It is impossible to prepare everything in a maternity bag, so expectant mothers should not worry too much about it. Generally, it is best to start preparing around 30 weeks of pregnancy, so that you can slowly select and prepare, and you won’t be in a rush when encountering emergencies. In addition, before admission to the hospital, you should classify the items you need to prepare for hospitalization separately to avoid panic when giving birth.

Documents required for admission

★ID cards of both spouses;

★Prenatal examination manual (all examination results);

★Medical insurance card;

★Cash.

Daily necessities for pregnant women in hospital

★ Mobile phone and charger;

★ Microwavable bowls and cutlery;

★A set of towels and toiletries;

★ Several sets of change of clothes (including underwear and nursing bras, discharge clothes should be long-sleeved and windproof, and a thin hat), long socks, comfortable slippers, pure cotton underwear, belly bands, and breast pads;

★ Maternity pads, tissues/wet wipes, and comfort pants;

★ Mobile phone and power bank;

★ A thermos sippy cup filled with water.

Newborn Products

★ Newborn baby blankets, clothes, hats, socks, and newborn baby laundry detergent;

★Small handkerchief, small basin, bath towel, waterproof sticker;

★Newborn diapers, baby diaper cream;

★ Bottles, newborn formula milk, milk warmer, silicone spoon, nursing wipes/daily tissues.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalization Process

Hospitalization during working hours

Register during working hours (8:30-17:30) - Outpatient doctor assesses the condition and issues a hospitalization order - Pays the fee - Completes hospitalization procedures at the nurse station on the third floor

Emergency or nighttime emergency

If you have unbearable pain, anal swelling, heavy vaginal discharge, bleeding or other emergencies, or if you need emergency treatment at night, go directly to the nurse station on the third floor. The doctor on duty will assess your condition and issue a hospitalization order.
