Premenstrual symptoms and early pregnancy

Premenstrual symptoms and early pregnancy

In the early stages of a woman's pregnancy, her body will show different symptoms, and these symptoms are called early pregnancy reactions. However, before a woman's menstruation, her body will also show symptoms that are different from the past. So are the symptoms in early pregnancy the same as those a few days before menstruation? And how to distinguish these two conditions well? Today I will give you a detailed explanation.

1. Distinguish early pregnancy symptoms from menstruation in terms of pain

Some women may have abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy. This is due to the stimulation of the uterus by the implantation of the fertilized egg. Of course, as the fetus continues to grow, the uterus may also be stimulated and cause mild pain. However, women are not prone to abdominal pain before menstruation, and always have a small amount of lower abdominal pain 1 to 2 days after menstruation.

2. Distinguish early pregnancy symptoms from menstruation based on urination frequency

If you want to better distinguish whether it is early pregnancy or menstruation, you can distinguish it according to the frequency of urination. Generally, after women become pregnant, the bladder is compressed by the enlarged uterus and the volume becomes smaller. At this time, women will experience frequent urination and urgency. The continuous increase in the frequency of urination is a more prominent symptom of women in the early stages of pregnancy, but women will not experience increased urination frequency before menstruation.

3. Differentiate early pregnancy symptoms from menstruation based on body temperature

In the early stages of pregnancy, a woman's body temperature will continue to rise, and basically the body temperature will remain between 37 degrees and 37.5 degrees. If a woman accurately measures her body temperature and it continues to rise and there is no menstrual period, she can tell that she is pregnant. However, if a woman has her period, her body temperature will not change at all, let alone increase.
