1. The feeling of “revengeful staying up late” actually comes from a kind of “compensation psychology”

Compensation psychology is a kind of self-defense mechanism. In order to "compensate", we tend to stay up late, hoping to make up for the regrets of the day, expressing a silent resistance or dissatisfaction with life.

But in fact, this approach often does not give people real comfort. We will become more and more afraid of the arrival of the next day, and when the next day comes, we will not have the energy to bear the consequences of staying up late. The next night, we can only continue to seek psychological "compensation" by staying up late in revenge.

2. If you have to stay up late, make up for your sleep scientifically

Sometimes, people have to stay up late to do something, such as writing papers, taking extra classes, taking care of children, and socializing...

If you know in advance that you need to stay up late, if conditions permit, you can go to bed earlier in the previous few nights and sleep more, but it is best not to sleep more than 9 hours. If you decide to stay up late at night, you can take a 30-minute to 1-hour nap during the day to help reduce the fatigue of staying up late.

3. Good sleep is the best medicine to cure life

About 1/3 of a person's life is spent sleeping. A truly powerful person will actively control the rhythm of his life and improve his sleep quotient so that he can stay positive in work and life.

March 21st of every year is World Sleep Day. Eat when you are hungry, drink when you are thirsty, and sleep when you are tired. I hope you can sleep well and everything will be well.
