Uterine fibroids are a common gynecological disease. They are benign tumors formed by the proliferation of uterine smooth muscle tissue. Generally, uterine fibroids do not have much impact on health, but in some cases they may cause pain, excessive menstruation and other problems. Here are some ways to prevent uterine fibroids:

1. Avoid taking too much estrogen: Estrogen is one of the main factors that stimulate the growth of uterine fibroids. Therefore, try to avoid taking too much estrogen, such as oral contraceptives, royal jelly, etc.

2. Healthy diet: Maintain healthy eating habits, consume more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, etc., and limit the intake of high-fat, high-sugar, and high-salt foods.

3. Control your weight: Obesity is a risk factor for uterine fibroids, so pay attention to controlling your weight.

4. Regular physical examinations: Regular gynecological examinations should be performed, especially for women with a family history or who already have uterine fibroids.

5. Reduce mental stress: Mental stress is also a risk factor for uterine fibroids, so pay attention to reducing mental stress.

Relevant studies have shown that proper exercise can prevent uterine fibroids to a certain extent.

1. Aerobic exercise: Studies have shown that women who regularly participate in aerobic exercise, such as cycling, swimming, jogging and brisk walking, may have a lower risk of uterine fibroids. Aerobic exercise helps control weight and promote blood circulation in various parts of the body, which may play a positive role in preventing uterine fibroids.

2. Yoga: Yoga is a form of exercise that exercises both the body and mind, helping to relieve stress, anxiety and depression. Certain yoga poses, such as the headstand, plow pose, and shoulder stand, can promote blood circulation in the pelvic area, relieve dysmenorrhea, and promote menstrual blood discharge, thereby preventing uterine fibroids.

3. Pilates: Pilates is a whole-body exercise that combines low-impact, strength training and rehabilitation exercises. Studies have shown that proper Pilates exercise can reduce the risk of uterine fibroids in women. Pilates can strengthen the core muscles and pelvic floor muscles, promote blood circulation in the pelvic area, and prevent uterine fibroids.

It should be noted that the prevention of uterine fibroids cannot rely solely on exercise. It is also necessary to pay attention to a balanced diet, avoid excessive fatigue, reduce mental stress, etc. It is recommended to consult a doctor before exercising, understand your physical condition, choose a suitable exercise method, and master the intensity and time of exercise.

In addition, if you already have uterine fibroids, you can also treat it through surgery, medication, etc.
