Fear of pregnancy and mental stress

Fear of pregnancy and mental stress

Pregnancy phobia refers to mothers' fear and concern about the unknown effects of having a baby on their daily lives in the future. Many women are afraid that pregnancy will cause too much stress. What is the reason?

1. Worry about pregnant women having difficult labor

Some women have pregnancy phobia because they worry about having a difficult delivery. As long as you pay more attention to the effectiveness, appropriateness and scientific research of pregnancy diet and carry out appropriate exercise during pregnancy, you can greatly reduce the possibility of difficulties. Generally speaking, women have a strong appetite during pregnancy, and their families are warm and caring. Some pregnant women, in addition to chicken, duck, fish and meat, also blindly supplement with tonic food, which makes the baby look too big and the pregnant woman has a difficult delivery.

Some pregnant women are afraid of hurting their babies, so they move too little, do not do proper exercise and work, or even quit their jobs, which often leads to an imbalance in nutrient absorption and consumption, increases the incidence of obesity and tiny babies during pregnancy, and causes dystocia.

In addition, transverse fetal position and older mothers can easily lead to dystocia. In addition, there is no need to worry too much, as most pregnant women are able to give birth successfully.

2. Worry about giving birth to a deformed fetus

Some women have pregnancy phobia because they worry about giving birth to a deformed fetus. In fact, many deformed babies can be prevented. As long as the pregnant mother has no family history, does not smoke or drink, does not wear heavy makeup, avoids radiation sources and animals with a lot of bacteria, and avoids fever, colds and other diseases, it is generally not easy to give birth to a deformed baby.

In order to reduce the possibility of a deformed baby as soon as possible, both husband and wife planning to become pregnant should quit smoking and drinking for at least six months before getting pregnant.

3. Postpartum body deformation

Worrying about body shape change is also one of the reasons why women may suffer from pregnancy phobia. In fact, if women exercise moderately during pregnancy and adhere to appropriate skin care during pregnancy, it will be easier to restore the original elasticity of the abdominal muscles after giving birth and effectively shrink the deformed belly.

Of course, there are more reasons why women are afraid of pregnancy. In short, don't give up pregnancy easily because of fear, because this may be a major regret in your life.
