Which is looser, episiotomy or tear?

The issue of having children is always a hot topic for discussion. For many pregnant women, what kind of delivery method should they choose, whether cesarean section or full-term delivery is better. In fact, both cesarean section and full delivery have their own advantages and disadvantages. If the pregnant woman has strong enough conditions, both can be chosen. But generally speaking, which one is looser, a natural birth tear or an episiotomy wound? Which one is looser, an episiotomy wound or a tear?

1. The episiotomy wound during normal delivery refers to the episiotomy wound of the perineum. Generally, an oblique incision is made in the perineum. This can expand the birth canal to a certain extent, allowing the baby to be born more smoothly and will not cause great impact on the pregnant woman.

2. Some pregnant women, especially those giving birth for the first time, may suffer perineal tears due to excessive tightness of the perineum or heavy fetus, which is particularly serious. If you have perineal lacerations during normal labor, you can prevent perineal tearing during labor, protect the pelvic floor muscles, and speed up labor to prevent the baby from suffocating after a long time out.

3. Depending on the severity of the natural tear, side laser cutting can also avoid severe tearing. If severe tearing occurs, side cutting is required. If there is no serious tearing, it is best to tear it naturally.

4. If a woman is a first-time mother, most doctors will cut her side when she is in labor. This can help her baby be born without causing serious harm to her baby and the pregnant woman, and can also avoid emergencies during delivery, so most first-time mothers will cut her side.

Episiotomy wounds and tears are not likely to cause vaginal relaxation. The main reason why pregnant women choose episiotomy during delivery is that the fetal head is too large or the birth canal is narrow, or because of the poor elasticity of the perineum and the high perineum. Therefore, the episiotomy method is used to avoid serious lacerations during natural delivery.

Choosing natural childbirth is more likely to cause vaginal relaxation. It is recommended to exercise appropriately and do more anal exercises on a daily basis, which will help improve the relaxation symptoms in the vagina. If the relaxation is serious, you need to go to the hospital for examination immediately and undergo surgical treatment if necessary. It is best to clean the vulva with warm water at ordinary times, remember to change underwear frequently, and avoid eating spicy and irritating foods. If vulvar itching occurs, consider a gynecological infection and require immediate drug treatment.
