1. Lung cancer - low-dose spiral CT CT has a high resolution for lung cancer detection, and lung cancer tumors can be detected at 1 cm or even 0.8 cm in size. Therefore, it is recommended that middle-aged and elderly people over 50 years old or those with a family history of lung cancer replace X-rays with low-dose CT during physical examinations. The 2020 version of the "Recommendations for Screening and Prevention of Common Malignant Tumors in Residents" also recommends that people at high risk of lung cancer undergo low-dose spiral CT screening. 2. Gastric cancer: gastroscopy + biopsy Gastroscopy is the first-line method for diagnosing gastric diseases. Through gastroscopy + biopsy screening, gastric cancer can actually be prevented. Therefore, it is necessary to perform gastroscopy in a timely manner according to the specific condition and doctor's advice, and never wait until the condition worsens before considering gastroscopy. 3. Liver cancer - alpha-fetoprotein + liver B-ultrasound According to years of clinical experiments, the accuracy of B-ultrasound combined with serum alpha-fetoprotein in detecting liver cancer has reached more than 90%, which is the preferred examination method for clinical diagnosis of early liver cancer. The 2020 edition of "Recommendations for Screening and Prevention of Common Malignant Tumors in Residents" also recommends that liver cancer screening be combined with serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and liver B-ultrasound examination, and high-risk groups should be screened once every 6 months. 4. Colon cancer – colonoscopy The 2020 edition of "Recommendations for Screening and Prevention of Common Malignant Tumors in Residents" emphasizes that colorectal cancer screening should start at the age of 45, and both men and women should undergo a fecal occult blood (FOBT) test once a year and a colonoscopy every 10 years until the age of 75. 5. Breast cancer - mammography X-ray examination for breast cancer, also known as molybdenum-palladium examination, is currently a simple and effective screening method for diagnosing breast diseases. For the general population, the "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association" recommends that women aged 40 to 45 should undergo a breast X-ray examination once a year, and women aged 45 to 69 should undergo a breast X-ray examination every 1 to 2 years. 6. Prostate cancer – PSA screening For healthy people, the most important thing is to screen for early cancer. It is recommended that men over 50 years old use the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test to screen for prostate cancer. Because PSA is cheaper and eliminates the problem of false positives, it is the most convenient and sensitive method for early screening of prostate cancer. 7. Cervical cancer – HPV + TCT Currently, the internationally recognized safest cervical cancer screening method is a combined screening method of cytology testing (TCT) and human papillomavirus (HPV) virology testing. The industry also regards the combined screening of HPV+TCT as the best way to accurately screen or secondary prevention and control of cervical cancer. |
