iPhone 15 series ranks top three in sales in Q3 2024 global mobile phone market

According to the latest TOP 10 rankings of the world's best-selling mobile phones in the third quarter of 2024 released by market research companies Counterpoint and Canalys, we can get a glimpse of the hot-selling models in the current global smartphone market. In Counterpoint's list, Apple's iPhone 15 series performed strongly, with the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro occupying the top three positions respectively.

Since the iPhone 16 series was not launched until late September, it did not make the list.

In the Android camp, Samsung A15 4G and A15 5G became the best-selling Android phones, both entering the top five, and Xiaomi's Redmi 13C also entered the list.

Samsung S24 became the most popular Android flagship model of the quarter, while S24 Ultra fell out of the list for the first time.

In Canalys' list, Apple's iPhone 15 is also the global sales champion. However, there are three models in the iPhone 16 series on the list, including iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16, among which iPhone 16 Pro even made it into the top three.

The best-selling Android phone is the Samsung A15 4G, which ranks second. In addition, all Samsung models on the list are mid-range series, including A15 4G, A15 5G and A55 5G, with no flagship models on the list.
