IDC: Pixel phones will account for 4.6% of the US market in 2023

The Google Pixel phone seems to be getting more attention than in the past. It's still not as popular as the Samsung and Apple ones, but a new report shows that Google's device is actually making some progress as it has increased its market share in the United States, which is a good sign.

Google Pixel phones are no longer slow to develop in the market, showing a good trend towards high-end development. According to a report by International Data Corporation (IDC), Pixel phones will occupy 4.6% of the US market in 2023. This is higher than the company's 3.6% share in 2022 and much better than the 1% share in 2021.

The increase is definitely specific to the US market, and while it may sound small, it shows that the phone is becoming more popular over time.

Smartphone shipments in the US fell by about 6.9%. Still, we are not sure if Google Pixel phones can keep growing in the market. In the US, the two largest companies happen to be Apple and Samsung, which have been in a duopoly for a long time, and they have done very, very well in this position.

We’ll have to wait and see how the next generation of Google Pixel phones performs. The company has some very interesting products coming later this year, including a successor to the Pixel Fold, a new watch, and possibly new and improved earphones.
