Does moderate cervical erosion affect abortion?

We all know that our female friends always have diseases in many aspects of their bodies, especially in their reproductive parts, where there are always many diseases. Because our female friends' reproductive parts are easily infected by various viruses and bacteria, their reproductive parts are particularly vulnerable. So if you suffer from cervical erosion, can you have an abortion? What are the dangers?

A gynecological examination is required before an abortion to detect any inflammation. Cervical erosion is a manifestation of chronic cervical inflammation. It is caused by bacteria invading columnar epithelial cells and hiding in the folds of the endocervical canal, making it difficult to be removed. A gynecological examination is routinely performed before an artificial abortion operation. One of its purposes is to promptly detect any acute or chronic inflammation of the reproductive system.

Cervical erosion can be divided into three degrees: mild, moderate and severe. After cervical erosion occurs, there is generally an increase in leucorrhea, and the more severe the erosion, the more purulent vaginal secretions. Generally speaking, patients with mild cervical erosion only need simple treatment, while patients with moderate to severe cervical erosion need to treat cervical erosion first and then undergo abortion surgery.

For patients with mild cervical erosion, the erosion surface is generally not bright red, and there is only sticky secretions. If the erosion surface is not bright red, obvious congestion or easy bleeding, and if there is no serious infection, abortion can generally be performed. Usually no treatment is required before the operation, but anti-inflammatory treatment is required before the abortion. Consolidation treatment must be carried out one month after the abortion.

Moderate and severe cervical erosion must be treated first

For moderate and severe cervical erosion, treatment must be given before an abortion can be performed. During an artificial abortion, surgical instruments enter the uterine cavity through the cervix for operation. If severe cervical erosion is not treated before the operation, it is very likely that bacteria hidden in the cervical canal will be brought into the uterine cavity along with the surgical instruments. After the operation, there are surgical wounds in the uterine cavity, which provide favorable conditions for the growth and reproduction of bacteria, thus causing postoperative pelvic infection.

It can be seen from this that it is very necessary to treat severe cervical erosion before abortion surgery. After treatment, the congestion of the erosion surface will be reduced and the bacteria will be inhibited, which will be of great benefit to the smooth progress of the operation, postoperative recovery and the reduction of complications. The purpose of treatment is to reduce cervical inflammation, inhibit local bacteria, and prevent bacterial ascending infection caused by surgery; at the same time, it creates conditions for the smooth progress of the operation.

It is very necessary to treat cervical erosion before abortion. Women should pay attention to hygiene in their daily lives to prevent cervical erosion. First, you need to check how severe your cervical erosion is. If the cervical erosion is mild, you can do anti-inflammatory treatment before abortion. If the cervical erosion is severe, you can only do surgery after the cervical erosion is treated.

If the degree of cervical erosion is not severe, you can have an abortion after routine anti-inflammatory treatment, and you can also treat the cervical erosion after the abortion. If the cervical erosion is above the third degree, the erosion must be treated first. In fact, medical technology is very advanced now, and erosion is very easy to treat. Don't worry.

Our female friends should not panic if they suffer from cervical erosion. They should go to the hospital to check the degree of cervical erosion, because different degrees of cervical erosion will affect whether they can undergo abortion surgery. But no matter what the severity of your cervical erosion is, it is best not to have an abortion, as this will cause great harm to female friends.
