TechInsights: Global TWS headset shipments to grow 15% year-on-year in Q2 2023

A series of recent reports from TechInsights’ Emerging Device Technologies (EDT) service indicate:

In Q2 2023, global TWS headset shipments increased by 15% year-on-year (Q1'23: YoY 2%), and revenue increased by 5.1% year-on-year (Q1'23: YoY -1.6%).

Apple still dominates the TWS market with a 17% shipment share and 43% revenue share, but competition from Indian and Chinese manufacturers has caused Apple's share to decline.

In terms of revenue, high-end ($101+) TWS earphones accounted for 57% of total revenue. In terms of shipments, entry-level (<$30) TWS earphones shipments accounted for 49% of total shipments. Bose still has the highest average selling price (ASP).
