Tidio AI: Survey shows that about 42% of respondents can accept robot companions

In a survey of more than 1,200 people, Tidio found that about 42% of respondents said they could accept a "romantic relationship" with a robot. The figure for male respondents was as high as 48%, while the figure for female respondents was 33%. This means that one day in the future, robots/artificial intelligence will not only take over many human jobs, but will even dominate human life.

In terms of emotions, 39% of the respondents said they were willing to establish a romantic relationship with AI. When broken down by gender, 43% of men said they were willing to accept it, while only 33% of female respondents said they were willing to accept it.

In other aspects, 78% of respondents would accept AI robots cleaning the house, 70% of respondents would not worry about food prepared by robots, and 68% of respondents would let AI plan their budgets and take care of tax filing.

As for relatively high-risk task types, 52% of respondents said they would accept surgery performed by AI robots, and 57% of respondents also agreed with AI-based traffic and aviation control.

Another 60% of respondents would be willing to summon a self-driving taxi in traffic jams, and 54% hope that AI can support national economic decision-making.
