Mobile China: Data shows that 55.04% of single people choose mobile entertainment in their leisure time.

Since the popularization of smartphones, playing with mobile phones has become an important entertainment item in our daily lives. The 2022-2023 China Better Life Survey found that Chinese people choose mobile entertainment, sports and fitness, and online shopping as the top three items in their leisure time on weekdays, of which mobile entertainment accounts for 51.87%.

Recently, according to Mobile China, relevant professional institutions have found that single people have always been the leader in mobile entertainment. Specifically, 55.04% of single people choose mobile entertainment in their leisure time.

In addition, the proportion of people in love is 53.49; the proportion of married people is 51.09%; and the proportion of divorced people is 50.12%. However, in 2022, the proportion of people in love who choose mobile entertainment in their leisure time has increased significantly by nearly 9%.

On the other hand, data from the past three years show that mobile entertainment has become a powerful tool for Chinese people to "kill time", and the proportion of people choosing it has continued to rise, increasing by nearly 14% in three years.

Looking at the seven major regions, people in Northeast China, North China and Central China are the ones who like to use their phones the most during their leisure time. More than half of them spend their leisure time using their phones.

Data shows that in 2021, the number of mobile phone users in China has exceeded one billion, with the penetration rate of smartphones reaching 91%. A recent report from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that there are currently 1.608 billion mobile phone users in China, an increase of 330,000 from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 1%.

We will not say much about the month-on-month and year-on-year growth. According to the previous census, my country's population is 141.178 million. This means that my country's mobile phone coverage rate is as high as 113.9%, which means that each person in my country owns an average of 1.14 mobile phones.
