From June to September 2022, 82% of the panels for the iPhone 14 series will be supplied by Samsung

Industry insider Ross Young revealed that there are three panel suppliers for the iPhone 14 series, namely Samsung, BOE and LG Display. In the three months from June to September, 82% of the panels for the iPhone 14 series were provided by Samsung. In the same period last year, Samsung panels accounted for 83% of the iPhone 13 series.

Excluding Samsung's 82% panel share, LG Display's panel share accounts for 12%, and the remaining 6% is provided by domestic BOE.

Ross Young said that because LG Display is facing some technical challenges, it has not yet provided panels for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The supplier will supply the Pro Max as early as September.

It is worth noting that domestic supplier BOE will receive more panel orders for the iPhone 14 series, because this supplier's prices are more advantageous than LG Display and Samsung, and Apple intends to lean towards BOE.

It was revealed that the sales volume of BOE's iPhone 14 series will be twice as much as expected, and its share is gradually increasing.

It is reported that Apple will release the new iPhone 14 series on September 8. This time there will be four models: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Among them, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max have notch screens, while iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have "exclamation mark" screens.
