Global Lung Cancer Awareness Month Live Event

The 2022 Science Education Base series of live broadcasts with the theme of "Go All Out to Love-Patient Care Public Welfare Activities" organized by the Science Popularization Professional Committee of the China Anti-Cancer Association has held more than 200 events so far. In 2022, the Science Popularization Professional Committee of the China Anti-Cancer Association will continue to collaborate with experts to bring cancer science popularization to everyone, improve people's awareness of cancer prevention and anti-cancer, and popularize standardized cancer diagnosis and treatment knowledge.

"Global Lung Cancer Awareness Month" is in November every year. It is a global initiative launched by the World Lung Cancer Alliance in November 2001. Its purpose is to call on countries around the world to pay attention to the prevention of lung cancer , raise people's awareness of lung cancer prevention and treatment, and popularize standardized diagnosis and treatment knowledge of lung cancer.

The Science Popularization Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and a number of lung cancer science popularization education bases specially launched the "International Lung Cancer Awareness Month Public Science Popularization Live Broadcast Event" during the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

At 14:00 on November 24, 2022, Professor Mou Haibo, chief physician of the Department of Oncology at Zhejiang Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital, will share with us popular science knowledge on the topic of "Talking about immunotherapy of non-small cell lung cancer and key points to pay attention to during the epidemic."

At 15:00 on November 24, 2022, Professor Yang Liwei, deputy director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery VI of the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, will share with us popular science knowledge on the topic of "Classification and Treatment Principles of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer".

At 16:00 on November 24, 2022, Professor Yao Yi, Director of the First Department of Oncology, People's Hospital of Wuhan University, will share with us popular science knowledge on the theme of "Ten Questions and Answers about Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer".

China Anti-Cancer Association Science Education Base

The science popularization education base project was initiated and established by the China Anti-Cancer Association , and is managed and operated by the China Anti-Cancer Association Tumor Prevention and Treatment Science Popularization Professional Committee. It is a physical science popularization education base established by relying on a team of scientific communication experts. The base pioneered the classification of cancer and diagnosis and treatment methods to achieve a new model of accurate and normal science popularization education. So far, 327 science popularization education bases have been successfully established for lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer, tumor rehabilitation, early cancer screening, pediatric tumors, lymphoma, gynecological tumors, breast reconstruction, etc. Through the construction of the base, regular science popularization and education activities such as science popularization lectures, exchanges, book donations, science popularization videos, and science popularization capacity training are carried out to achieve seamless connection between tumor science popularization and clinical practice, and explore practical practical experience and models for China's cancer prevention and control.
