Long granules on the inner side of the labia majora

Long granules on the inner side of the labia majora

Many women think that their vaginal discharge is caused by inflammation. Therefore, sanitary pads, care solutions, and cleaning solutions are used to clean the vulva. In addition to the above practices, some women also use their fingers wrapped in a towel to reach into the vagina to scrub, but they did not expect that the more they washed, the more leucorrhea there would be, and symptoms of grains growing on the inner side of the labia majora would appear. What is the reason for this?

Pseudo-condyloma, also known as villous labia minora, occurs on the inner mucosa of the labia minora and grows on the inner side of the labia minora like two balls of caviar. The protruding "villi" are equal in size, symmetrical on both sides, the same color as the surrounding mucosa, soft in texture, and can be lifted up when touched. It is more common in women aged 20-30 years old, and the rash mainly occurs on the inner side of the labia minora and the vestibule of the vagina. The rash is multiple, collective, granular, white or light red, like fish eggs, with a smooth surface and a granular feel to the touch. Some are filiform, papillary or polyp-like. Most patients do not feel any discomfort, but some feel local itching. Patients with pseudocondyloma usually have an increase in leucorrhea, which is white or colorless and transparent, and generally has no obvious odor. In order to distinguish it from genital warts, 5% acetic acid can be applied to the rash area. If it does not turn white, it is pseudo-warts; otherwise, it is genital warts. In addition, a papillomavirus antigen test can also be performed, and the result is always negative for pseudocondyloma. The cause of pseudocondyloma is still unclear. Some people believe that it is a physiological variation or is related to the presence of Candida albicans in the vulva and vagina. Others believe that pseudocondyloma acuminatum is caused by the proliferation of chronic diseases, possibly due to long-term stimulation of vaginal secretions. Pseudo-condyloma is a benign lesion that usually does not require special treatment. It is only treated appropriately when it is combined with Candida or Trichomonas infection. Therefore, true condyloma acuminatum and pseudo-condyloma acuminatum should be accurately distinguished.

In fact, everything has its meaning of existence. What we should learn is not to easily destroy certain "natural barriers". Otherwise, the opposite of what you want will likely happen. Let everything remain as it is. Although it is not an easy thing, out of love for ourselves, we should try our best. What do you think?
