Check the uterus skills pictures and steps

Generally, in the late stages of pregnancy or before delivery, doctors often perform endocervical examinations on patients to assess the condition of the pelvis and the progress of the delivery process. The process is that the pregnant woman lies flat on the examination bed, spreads her legs, and exposes her private parts. The doctor will disinfect the private parts three times with iodine disinfectant, place two fingers into the female vagina, and observe the condition of the cervix according to the feel of the doctor's fingers, such as the hardness and softness of the cervix, the degree of dilation of the cervical opening, whether the cervical canal is effaceable, the position of the fetal head, and the position of the cervix. Patients will not feel obvious pain during internal examination, but some pregnant women who are very anxious may feel uncomfortable.

Generally, before and after delivery, the doctor will check the cervix to determine whether natural delivery is possible and observe the progress of the delivery process. To check the cervix, you need to prepare sterile gloves, iodine disinfectant and special cotton balls in advance. First, put on sterile gloves, then use a cotton ball dipped in iodine disinfectant to disinfect the ring finger and middle thumb of the left hand. After disinfection, change another cotton ball dipped in iodine disinfectant to disinfect the private parts of the pregnant woman. The order of disinfection is from top to bottom, from inside to outside. Then put the ring finger and middle thumb into the pregnant woman's vagina until they touch the cervix to observe the enlargement of the cervix.

During the process of normal delivery, if you want the cervix to open quickly, you should first check the actual condition of the fetus and the pregnant woman. If the fetal heart rate is normal, the amniotic fluid is normal, and the amniotic fluid is relatively clear, then observe the physical condition of the pregnant woman. If the pregnant woman is in good health, has no uncomfortable symptoms, and has normal blood pressure, she can walk more, do more climbing and descending stairs exercises, and do squats. This can make the cervix open faster, speed up the process of cervical dilation, and shorten the cervical canal.

During this period, changes in fetal heartbeat and fetal movement need to be strictly monitored. If the pregnant woman has already had amniotic fluid discharge and amniotic sac rupture at this time, it is a symptom of increased blood pressure in the pregnant woman, and this posture should be stopped immediately.
