Once swallowed by mistake, it can cause mild disturbance of consciousness and difficulty breathing. Critically ill patients may die due to heart failure and numbness of the respiratory center.

5. Fresh daylily: Daylily contains colchicine, a toxin that can cause food poisoning symptoms such as dry throat, burning sensation in the stomach, and hematuria. Before taking it, you need to boil the day lily, cook it thoroughly, then blanch it in hot water and then cook it before taking it.

6. Green tomatoes: Green tomatoes contain the toxic substance solanine. Eating these unripe green tomatoes will cause a bitter feeling in the mouth and may lead to symptoms of food poisoning such as nausea and vomiting. Eating them raw is more risky.

7. Rotten ginger slices: Rotten ginger slices produce safrole, a substance with strong toxic side effects. After people consume this type of toxin, even a very small amount, it can cause liver poisoning and degeneration.

8. Raw spring bamboo shoots: Fresh spring bamboo shoots contain natural endotoxin cyanogenic glycosides. Eating raw or undercooked spring bamboo shoots may also cause food poisoning.
