Changes in milk during pregnancy and lactation

If you get pregnant without using effective contraceptive methods during breastfeeding, it may affect the secretion of breast milk. Due to the influence of growth hormones in the body, breast milk will generally decrease gradually in the early stages of pregnancy. In this case, you need to do a check-up to see if there is any possibility of pregnancy. This situation is different for everyone, and some people's performance is not very obvious. The factors that affect breast milk are also very complicated, because they are all related to mentality or diet, changes in lifestyle during this period, etc.

During the lactation period, the process of sperm and egg combination will cause a decrease in breast milk. Generally, when the embryo implants, estrogen and oestrogen begin to increase in secretion, at which time breast milk will decrease. Embryo implantation begins around the 7th day after the sperm and egg combination, at which time milk will decrease significantly. Around the 3rd month of pregnancy, breast milk will gradually stop secreting.

During breastfeeding, you should pay attention to contraceptive measures. It is best not to get pregnant during breastfeeding. If pregnancy causes a decrease in milk secretion, and the nutritional elements of the milk will also decrease, this will affect the baby's breastfeeding. If you are planning to get pregnant, you should stop breastfeeding first and immediately add nutrients to your body. The body returns to its pre-pregnancy state, fully recovers to normal menstruation and ovulation, and then prepares for pregnancy, which is beneficial to the growth and development of the second child.

In the early stages of pregnancy, breast milk is still secreted, and the impact at this time will not be very significant. However, generally after three months of pregnancy, the decrease in breast milk will be greater. During this period, the daily secretion of breast milk will become lower and lower. Generally, after five months of pregnancy, breast milk will basically no longer be produced. If you get pregnant during breastfeeding, it will have a greater impact on the child. This period will affect the quality of breast milk, so you must take effective contraceptive measures during this period, such as using condoms for contraception.
