App Promo: 91% of developers believe that marketing is an important factor in the success of their products

App Promo (a provider of mobile app development strategy, marketing and monetization solutions) recently reported that 80% of mobile app developers are not generating enough revenue, and nearly 60% of developers are spending more than they earn, mainly because these studios lack development experience.

An infographic released by App Promo shows that 91% of developers believe that marketing is an important factor in the success of a product, but 52% of respondents have no marketing budget at all.

11% of developers claimed that they have received at least 500,000 downloads, and 12% of respondents said they have generated at least US$50,000 in revenue to date.

The report information shows that developers must invest certain marketing costs to achieve success, and top developers invest an average of $30,000 in marketing.
