CNNBC: Facebook IPO User Survey

Facebook is going to IPO in the next few days. In response to this event, AP-CNBC conducted a telephone survey of 1,004 users from May 3 to 7. The survey has a margin of error of 3.9%. The following are the main findings of the survey:

Half of users express love for Facebook

Data shows that 51% of users think Facebook is a good company, while 71% of users think Google, Apple and Microsoft are good companies. It can be seen that Facebook's image still needs to be improved, but at least compared to Twitter, Facebook's reputation is still good.

Of course, in terms of user attitudes towards Facebook, young users prefer the company; Facebook users like the company more than non-users.

When it comes to privacy, most people don’t trust Facebook

Below are the reasons why users don’t use Facebook. Lack of interest and dislike account for half of them. Other reasons include restrictions, privacy concerns, etc.

When asked about how safe they felt about purchasing goods and services on Facebook, 54% said they did not feel safe at all.

The data below shows that only 17% of users frequently click on ads or sponsored content on Facebook.

As for the popular movie The Social Network, only 27% of people have watched it.
