Pubic lice are actually a type of sparganum, which can easily parasitize in areas of our body where hair grows, such as the anus, private skin, etc. This type of sparganosis will bite the skin and suck human blood. Often a family or a couple will be parasitized by this type of moisture. Therefore, maintaining good hygiene, taking frequent baths, and changing clothes and pants frequently are the key to preventing pubic lice. Can pubic lice grow away on their own? What causes pubic lice to grow on the genitals?

What is the cause of pubic lice?

Pubic lice naturally do not grow away easily on their own. This is actually a small insect that can produce larvae. The larvae's growth and development mainly go through three stages: eggs, larvae and nymphs. The entire growth process takes place on the host's body. In addition, female pubic lice secrete a very sticky liquid when laying eggs, which tightly attaches the eggs of pubic lice to the host's hair or the fiber clothes worn by the host. These eggs can be spread to normal people through clothes. Of course, nymphs or larvae can also be spread to other normal people through clothes or other daily necessities. This is why a healthy person can also have pubic lice.

After getting pubic lice, the most typical symptom is that the skin where the pubic lice parasitize the hair feels itchy and uncomfortable, especially at night when the itching is more severe. Some skin may also develop rashes and scabs due to the activity of pubic lice, or the skin may turn pale. Granular, rust-colored pubic lice feces may be found on the patient's underwear. If you look closely at the roots of the hair, you can find semicircular dark brown pubic lice larvae.

This concludes our brief introduction to whether pubic lice can grow away on their own. This type of sparganosis does not grow on its own, but is caused by infection from others. Pubic lice have a strong ability to survive and reproduce. A female pubic louse can produce 40 to 50 pubic lice in its lifetime. Due to its strong reproductive ability, the possibility of infection is increased. Therefore, attention must be paid to hygiene and active prevention.
