What are the “three reductions”?

Salt reduction

Table salt is also called sodium chloride. Too much sodium can easily raise blood pressure.

Learn to use the salt-limiting spoon, 5 grams a day without adding more

Use less salt in home cooking, light taste is best

Condiments contain a lot of sodium, so use less to show off your cooking skills

Be careful when ordering takeout from restaurants and remember to ask for less salt

When buying food, read the labels and choose low-sodium options when comparing similar products

Oil reduction

Eat less fried food and more steamed food, light diet is good for health

The limited oil bottle is a ruler to know the amount of oil used every day

25g per person per day, limit total oil consumption at home

Stewing and cold dishes use less oil, and the combination of meat and vegetables is nutritious

When shopping in supermarkets, read labels and choose low-fat options wisely

Reduce oil consumption to control weight, keep slim and avoid obesity

Sugar reduction

Added sugar leads to high energy, excessive intake increases hidden dangers

Add less sugar to all kinds of food to prevent tooth decay and obesity

No more than 50 grams per day, less than half is a good example

Eat less high-sugar foods. Sugar-free does not mean energy-free

Drink less sugary drinks, plain water and light tea are good for your health

In response to the "three reductions", the public is encouraged to have a light taste and control the amount of salt, oil and sugar , and it is proposed that "no more than 5 grams of salt per day", "control the amount of cooking oil", and "food and beverages should have less sugar".

What are the “three healths”?

Healthy Oral Health

Brush your teeth properly twice a day, morning and evening, for at least 2 minutes each time. Brushing your teeth before going to bed is even more important.

Have regular dental check-ups and teeth cleaning (scaling) at least once a year;

Clean the mouth from birth, treat deciduous tooth diseases as early as possible, and protect the health of permanent teeth;

Fluoride application and pit and fissure sealing are safe and effective measures to prevent caries;

Use dental floss or an interdental brush to clean between teeth;

Repair missing teeth promptly.

Healthy weight

Maintaining a healthy weight: Balance between eating and exercise is the key.

Measure your weight and waist circumference regularly to know the changes in yourself early;

Calculate body mass index (BMI), 18.5≤BMI<24.0 for adults is normal;

The waist circumference of men should not exceed 85cm, and that of women should not exceed 80cm to prevent central obesity;

The key to weight loss is to reduce fat, control weight scientifically, and not blindly lose weight excessively;

Preventing obesity among children and adolescents can reduce the risk of various chronic diseases in adulthood.

Healthy bones

Nutrition, exercise, and sun exposure are beneficial for promoting or maintaining bone mass;

Exercise scientifically to prevent injuries, protect bones and joints throughout the body, and maintain continuous mobility;

Children and adolescents should improve their posture and body shape, sit less and exercise more;

People over 40 should test and understand their bone density to prevent osteoporosis;

The elderly should pay attention to strength and balance exercises to prevent falls and fractures.

We advocate full life cycle attention for the "three healths", and propose "brush your teeth correctly twice a day, morning and evening", "measure your weight, calculate your index, and measure your waist circumference", and "strengthen your bones and protect your joints".
