Hand wash face

How to do it: Put your palms together, rub them until they are warm, then place them on your face, and place your middle fingers on both sides of your nose. Inhale: rub your palms from bottom to top to your forehead; exhale: rub your palms along the front of your ears to your chin.

Repeat 2 times of 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until your face and ears feel slightly warm. During the rubbing process, focus on stimulating the Yingxiang, Yintang, Jiaosun, Ermen, Tinggong, and Tinghui acupoints.

Rub your neck

Method: Place your palms, which have been rubbed until hot, on both sides of your neck. Inhale: Rub your palms against each other from front to back to the center of your neck; exhale: Rub your palms against each other from back to front to your neck.

Repeat 2 times of 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until the neck feels slightly warm. During the rubbing process, focus on stimulating the bilateral Qiaogong, Quepen, Shuitu, Renying, Tianding, Futu, Yifeng, Fengchi, Fengfu and other acupoints.

Climbing the head to wake up the brain

Method: Bend the ten fingers of both hands slightly to form a comb shape. Inhale: Use the ten fingers of both hands to rub from the forehead to the eyebrows upwards like combing hair, along the direction of the foot-taiyang bladder meridian and the foot-shaoyang gallbladder meridian, rub from front to back to the Fengchi point on the occipital part; Exhale: Use both palms to rub from the back hairline through the ears, neck, lower jaw, face, and back to the forehead.

Repeat 2 times of 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until your scalp feels slightly warm. Focus on stimulating the Yintang, Baihui, Touwei and other acupoints.

Rubbing the nose to clear the orifices

Method: Put your palms together, rub until they are warm, and then place them on both sides of the nose, breathing in and out through the nose. Inhale: Rub the middle fingers of both hands from the Yingxiang points on both sides of the nose along the bridge of the nose to the Shenting point; Exhale: Rub your palms from top to bottom to the Yingxiang point.

Repeat 2 times of 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until the sides of the nose are slightly warm and the nasal cavity is unobstructed. During the rubbing process, focus on stimulating the Yingxiang, Shangen, Jingming, Yintang, Shenting and other acupoints.

Push and rub Tanzhong

Method: Rub your hands together until they are warm, overlap your palms, and place them on the chest at the Tanzhong point. Inhale: Push and rub your palms from the Tanzhong point along the anterior midline from bottom to top to the Tiantu point at the upper end of the sternum; Exhale: Push and rub your palms from top to bottom along the anterior midline through the Tanzhong, Zhongwan, Shenque, and all the way to the Guanyuan point.

Repeat 2 times of 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until the chest feels slightly warm. During the rubbing process, focus on stimulating the Tanzhong, Huagai, Xuanji, Tiantu, Zhongting, Juque, Zhongwan, Shenque, Guanyuan and other acupoints.

Lumbar massage

Method: Rub your hands together until they are warm, and place them on both sides of the lumbar sacral region. Inhale: Rub your palms from the Huiyang points on both sides of the sacral region from bottom to top to the Shenshu points on both sides; Exhale: Rub your palms from the Shenshu points from top to bottom to the Huiyang points.

Repeat 2 times for 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until the lumbar and sacral area is slightly warm. Focus on stimulating the Shenshu, Qihaishu, Guanyuanshu, Baohuang, Zhibian, Huiyang and other acupoints.

Lift the heels and shake the elbows

How to do it: Stand with your legs parallel and shoulder-width apart, relax your whole body, and let your hands hang naturally on both sides, with the middle fingers of both hands at the crotch of your lower limbs. Inhale: slowly lift your heels and let your toes touch the ground for a moment; exhale: suddenly touch the heels to the ground, so that the body's gravity and the reaction force of the ground form an impact force, vibrating to the posterior midline.

Repeat 2 sets of 8 beats, or as many times as you like, until your whole body is relaxed and you start to sweat slightly. Focus on stimulating the Changqiang, Yaoyangguan, Mingmen, Zhiyang, Dazhui, Baihui and other acupoints.

Expand chest and regulate qi

How to do it: Stand with your legs parallel and shoulder-width apart, relax your whole body, and let your hands hang naturally on both sides. Inhale: Use your shoulders to drive your upper limbs from bottom to top, lift them to the chest, and align them with the center of your chest; exhale: Slowly lower your hands to return to the original position.

Repeat 2 times for 8 beats, or until your whole body is relaxed and you feel refreshed. Focus on stimulating the Tanzhong, Zhongfu, Yunmen, Jiquan, Qimen, and Zhangmen acupoints.

There are two points you should pay special attention to when practicing: first, relax your whole body; second, coordinate movements and breathing closely. Except for the fourth section "Rub the Nose to Open the Orifices", which uses the breathing method of inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the nose, all other exercises use the breathing method of inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth, and try to breathe deeply, long, and evenly.

The practice position is usually standing, and the first to sixth sections can also be flexibly selected to sit or lie on your back according to the practitioner's physical condition. When practicing, if you pay attention to the stimulation of relevant acupoints, and achieve balanced nutrition, moderate exercise, and adequate sleep, the effect will be better.
