Can Kangfuxin Liquid be used as nasal drops?

Kangfuxinye is a Chinese patent medicine. It is composed of American cockroach extract. It contains various polyols, epidermal growth factor, amino acids, mucosine and other amino acids and other active substances. It has anti-inflammatory, detumescent, promotes cell proliferation and growth of new granulation tissue, accelerates the repair of lesions, speeds up the shedding of necrotic tissue, improves the body's immunity, and quickly repairs various ulcers and traumatic wounds. Oral administration: used for blood stasis, stomach pain and bleeding, gastric and duodenal ulcers; and auxiliary treatment of yin deficiency pulmonary tuberculosis. External use: used for wounds, trauma, ulcers, fistulas, burns, scalds, and bedsores. [1]

When the drug is taken orally, 10 ml at a time, 3 times a day. Or follow the doctor's advice. When used externally, soak medical gauze with the liquid medicine and apply it to the affected area. The infected wound should be cleaned first and then rinsed with this product, and the gauze soaked with this product should be used to fill or apply. The bottle cap should be tightened in time after use to prevent contamination. When applied to surgical wounds, attention should be paid to the following: 1. When using gauze to cover or soak the liquid medicine, the gauze used should be sterilized medical gauze. If conditions are not met, the gauze should be sterilized with a sterilizer before use. 2. Before using Kangfuxin Liquid, the wound should be cleaned and disinfected with antibiotic liquids such as physiological saline and hydrogen peroxide before use. When the wound is large, it should be combined with antibiotic treatment. It can be dripped directly onto the wound and then covered with medical gauze, or the gauze soaked with the liquid medicine can be applied, depending on the patient's condition.

In pediatric clinical practice, Kangfuxin Liquid has significant efficacy in the adjuvant treatment of hand, foot and mouth disease in children. [2] It is effective in treating herpetic pharyngitis in children, with no adverse reactions, and can be used as a routine treatment for herpetic pharyngitis in children. [3]

Can Kangfuxin Liquid be used as nose drops? Nasal mucosal erosion is a common nasal disease. In mild cases, it causes local dryness and induration in the nasal cavity, pain or bleeding. In severe cases, it can cause repeated bleeding. The incidence rate is higher in dry climates. For many years, there has been no specific clinical treatment. The general treatment is mainly lubricating nose drops combined with oral vitamins. Kangfuxin Liquid contains unique polyols and peptide active substances, which can improve local blood circulation, eliminate inflammatory edema, promote the growth of new granulation tissue, and quickly repair damaged skin and mucosa. [4] Under what circumstances can nose drops be used and how to use nose drops should be followed according to the doctor's advice.
