How to make daffodils bloom longer

1. Temperature control: Narcissus grown in water at home should be placed in a sunny, well-ventilated place away from heaters, stoves and other heaters during the growing period. When the buds are about to bloom, they should be moved to a cool place indoors to avoid direct sunlight and maintain a balanced temperature. As long as there is a certain low temperature environment, the flowering period can be effectively extended.

2. Appropriate topdressing: Appropriate topdressing can also extend the flowering period. Narcissus has a greater demand for nutrients after bud formation, but the nutrients left in the bulb are limited at this time, so appropriate fertilizer should be applied in the late growth period. After topdressing, the plant grows strong, the buds are large, the flowers are numerous, and the flowering period can be extended by 5 to 7 days.

3. Refrigeration treatment: When one to two narcissus buds open, you can take the flower ball out of the pot, put it in a small plastic bag, and store it in the refrigerator storage room. After a few days, take it out and put it in the flower pot for continued maintenance, and it will bloom normally.
