I started bleeding again after more than a year of amenorrhea.

Menopause for women in their 50s is the most normal physiological phenomenon. If some women have been safe and sound for a year, they will find that they have bleeding symptoms again. This is the first thing everyone should do to go to the hospital to check their ovaries, because this may be some gynecological inflammation among women, or even some serious malignant tumors. Let's take a look at what's going on when bleeding occurs again after more than a year of amenorrhea.

1. The metabolic function of the uterus and ovaries has not completely declined

In the first year after a woman's menstrual period stops, she may experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding. This is mainly because the ovarian metabolism of menopausal women has not completely declined and can still secrete some hormones. After being affected by the hormone, the uterine wall will also bleed. However, with the development of time, the ovaries begin to decline and the secretion of growth hormone will decrease.

2. Inflammation

After menopause, women's ovaries significantly decline and the level of estrogen in the body decreases. The cervix and uterine wall will also shrink to varying degrees, and our ability to resist diseases will be reduced. This stage is prone to infection due to the invasion of bacteria and viruses. The clinical symptoms of vaginitis in the elderly are non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina and changes in secretions.

3. Exudative necrosis of the uterine wall in the elderly

Uterine wall hemorrhagic necrosis is actually the result of uterine arteriosclerosis in women. During menopause, women are prone to arteriosclerosis due to the decrease in estrogen levels. When uterine arteriosclerosis is more serious, it will cause autologous ischemic oxygen deficiency, which may cause necrotizing hemorrhagic symptoms in the uterine wall.

4. Malignant tumors of the reproductive system

Postmenopausal bleeding may also be a sign that women have urinary tract malignancies. The longer the time interval and the older the age, the higher the probability of developing malignant tumors. Women will experience non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina, the amount is sometimes more, sometimes less, and there will also be some stubborn fluid secretion.
