Have you used these 5 simple and effective methods to strengthen your intestines?

The gut is vital to a person's overall health and well-being. The microbes that live in it are increasingly being shown to influence many aspects of the human body. More and more studies are showing that disturbances in the gut flora may cause disease, but there isn't much research to tell people how to manage their gut health.

The latest issue of The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology has a special article discussing the significance of intestinal health and the factors that affect intestinal health. Based on the currently known evidence, five principles that are beneficial to intestinal health are given:

1. Follow healthy eating guidelines and eat a variety of foods. Fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains are all high-fiber foods.

2. Avoid excessive drinking;

3. Avoid drug abuse and unnecessary medication;

4. Exercise regularly;

5. Participate in more activities that are beneficial to mental health and stress relief.

It doesn’t seem difficult, right? I wonder how many of the above five points you can do?
