What to eat to stop bleeding when period is not over

If the menstruation is not clean, and it has exceeded nine days in clinical medicine, it is considered an abnormal situation. It is often caused by inflammation of the uterine wall or endocrine disorders, such as insufficient estrogen, intestinal metaplasia of the uterine wall, or endometrial cancer, and should be taken seriously. It is recommended to do a B-ultrasound examination first, mainly to understand the thickness of the uterine wall. If abnormal thickening of the uterine wall is found under this condition, it is recommended to perform a diagnostic curettage and send the scraped tissue for pathological examination.

If the uterine wall has a uniform echo and does not appear thickened, you can take hemostatic drugs for symptomatic treatment. It is recommended to take Anluoxue and Chanfukang granules for treatment. In most cases, the bleeding symptoms will stop after three days of taking it.

A normal menstrual period should be up and down every 28 days and last for 5-7 days. If your menstrual period was normal before, but it is irregular for 7 days recently and lasts for 10 days or longer, you must go to the hospital to check whether there is any abnormality in your cervix. If there is no abnormality in the cervix, it is necessary to check whether there are any organic diseases in the uterus, such as uterine intrauterine polyps. In patients with a history of cesarean section, diverticula can be seen at the uterine incision. In addition, the presence of uterine fibroids may lead to irregular menstruation and spotting in the future. If the organic disease is ruled out, women's hormone test should be done to see if the withdrawal of estrogen, such as incomplete contraction of progesterone, can also lead to prolonged menstruation.

If the menstrual period has not ended, it is recommended to go to the hospital immediately to check the female hormone level, gynecological color ultrasound, blood routine examination and other related tests. Under normal circumstances, normal menstrual bleeding usually lasts for 3 to 7 days. If it exceeds 10 days, you can feel that the bleeding time has increased. Long menstrual duration can be caused by many reasons. Common ones include: fatigue during menstruation, cold, endocrine imbalance, IUD insertion, gynecological inflammation, uterine fibroids, blood disease, liver or chronic kidney disease, abnormalities of the uterine wall, etc. Further examination is needed to determine the cause and provide targeted treatment.
