Will installing light strips on the ceiling cause dust to accumulate? What kind of light is good for hanging on the ceiling?

Installing lights on the ceiling is the choice of many people. On the one hand, it is the most basic lighting need. On the other hand, ceiling light strips or other lights themselves and the lights can decorate the indoor environment. Many people are worried that installing light strips on the ceiling will accumulate dust. So is it possible to install it?

Will the ceiling light strip accumulate dust?

1. Color selection

You can choose monochrome light strips or colorful RGB light strips according to the actual style of the room. If you want a richer effect, it is recommended to use colorful LED light strips.

2. Voltage selection

If you consider convenience, you will generally choose high-voltage light strips, which are cut into 1-meter pieces. You can cut as many meters as you need. For safety reasons, it is not recommended that users clean the ceiling grooves. It is recommended that users choose weak-current LED soft light strips (5v, 12v, 24v are all acceptable).

3. Choice of waterproof grade

In dry indoor environments, IP20 bare board light strips can be used, but bare board light strips are inconvenient to clean. For relatively humid ceiling decorations, it is recommended to use drip-glue sleeves or sleeve-filled light strips, which are perfect in terms of safety, practicality, and convenience.

What kind of ceiling lamp is good?

What kind of ceiling lamp is good cannot be generalized. It depends on the indoor space area, height, decoration style, main color, and personal preference.

The height determines whether to use a ceiling-mounted or suspended type, and the space area determines the size of the lamp. At the same time, the lamp type and the brightness and softness of the light should be matched and coordinated with the decoration style and main color, so that it can reflect natural beauty, good coordination, and comfortable living.

The suspended ceiling will be combined with the lamps for one installation, and the suspended ceiling is suitable for installing various lamps, such as ceiling lamps, chandeliers, downlights, and spotlights can be installed on the ceiling.

The downlight is hidden in the ceiling, and it is necessary to reserve a space for the downlight in front of the ceiling to facilitate later installation.

Ceiling lamps and chandeliers are generally fixed inside the ceiling, so when installing the ceiling, you should also reserve positions for the lamp holes of the chandeliers and ceiling lamps. This will facilitate the later wiring and reduce a lot of trouble for the installation of lamps in the future. There will be some overlap on the ceiling.

The overlapping parts can hide some light strips, because the light strips can make the light in the interior space more layered and soft, thus making the lighting of the entire space more diverse.

Why are some LED lights on and some not?

1. One of the lamp beads is damaged - the possibility of all the lamp beads being damaged is extremely low, and it is usually one or several lamp beads that are damaged. The circuits on the lamp bead board may be connected in series or in parallel, or even in series first and then in parallel. Smaller lamp bead boards like this are generally connected in series. So if one lamp bead is damaged, all the lamp beads will not light up.

2. When there is no sign of damage to the lamp beads from the outside, you can consider measuring it with a multimeter - after cutting off the power, use the resistance range of the multimeter to measure any lamp bead. If all the lamp beads light up during the measurement, it proves that the lamp beads are intact.

The problem must be with the starter. If the starter is broken, it is easy to deal with it. Go buy a starter, and pay attention to buy a variable light type (you can refer to the model of the old starter).
