This is a basic surgical treatment with a relatively high safety factor. Nowadays, surgical treatment is also relatively complete and can generally be performed in a reliable tertiary hospital. This operation usually requires hospitalization for about a week. After the operation, you should rest more and lie down as much as possible, and avoid sitting for a long time or exercising excessively.

However, this type of surgical treatment also has a certain recurrence rate, which is around 20%. Therefore, it is better to maintain a normal lifestyle and pay more attention to reduce the chance of recurrence as much as possible. Generally, everything can be repaired after surgery, so it will not affect the function of pregnancy. Also, if the ultrasound shows that varicocele is not very serious and does not affect the survival rate of male sperm, then there is no need for surgical treatment first, and conservative treatment can be chosen.
