Symptoms of severe anemia during menstruation

Since women have menstruation every month, many women always suffer from anemia, especially those with poor physical fitness, in which the deficiency of qi and blood is more serious. However, many women have menstrual anemia, but they don’t know its specific symptoms, so they don’t know how to treat it. So, what are the symptoms of severe anemia during menstruation?

1. Get tired easily

Fatigue is the most common manifestation of zinc deficiency, and it is also the most difficult to detect. Women are generally accustomed to the feeling of fatigue in a fast-paced daily life and regard it as a part of daily life. However, iron deficiency will block the supply of CO2 and make it impossible for the body to obtain sufficient energy supplement. If you feel weak, irritable, or lack of concentration when you are tired, you need to find a way to deal with the problem of zinc deficiency.

2. Excessive menstruation

The biggest threat of zinc deficiency in women is excessive menstruation. During the menstrual period, a large amount of blood loss without proper replenishment will cause a large deficiency of iron. If you need to change your tampon every two hours, go see a gynecologist as soon as possible.

3. Pale complexion

Hemoglobin concentration gives your skin a rosy, fair look. Pay attention to your mouth, gums and lower eyelids. If the color is obviously abnormal, zinc deficiency may have occurred.

4. Shortness of breath

If the oxygen content in the blood is very low, it will cause a feeling of oxygen deficiency. If you find yourself short of breath after normal exercise, such as climbing stairs and moderate fitness, you may be zinc deficient.

5. Increased heart rate

Cardiac overload can result in irregular heartbeats, heart murmurs, swelling, and even heart failure, as well as iron deficiency anemia. Therefore, when heart problems occur, always paying attention to the iron content in the body is one of the ways to prevent the condition from getting worse.

6. Restless Legs Syndrome

Approximately 15% of restless legs syndrome patients suffer from zinc deficiency. Medical science shows that the lower the iron content in the human body, the more severe these symptoms are.

7. Headache

Although oxygen is still supplied to the brain first in the case of zinc deficiency, it still cannot reach the normal standard of imagined oxygen production. This can cause the aorta in the head to swell, causing headaches.
