Pink blood on the first day of menstruation

Pink blood on the first day of menstruation

Women's menstruation is the process of the endometrium shedding and the mixed blood being discharged into the vagina after the body's estrogen and progesterone are withdrawn. Generally, on the first day of menstruation, due to the shedding of a small amount of endometrium, vaginal bleeding may be less, and the secretion may be pink, brown, or even black. Therefore, it is normal for the blood on the first day of menstruation to be pink, and generally no special treatment is required. Just during the menstrual period, you can drink more brown sugar water to promote the discharge of menstrual blood.

Light pink menstrual blood is abnormal and may indicate low flow, thinner blood, or blood clotting problems. Normal menstrual blood contains blood, necrotic uterine wall and cervical mucus, so it is dark red in color, stained with membranous substances, and has a relatively viscous texture. Even at the beginning or end of the menstrual period, when bleeding is less, the color of menstrual blood is slightly darker.

Only when a woman's estrogen and progesterone levels are too low, the endometrial hyperplasia metabolism is poor, and the amount of cervical mucus is very small, will there be relatively thin and light pink menstrual blood. If this situation persists for a long time, the woman's menstrual cycle and ovulation period will definitely be abnormal. In addition, if a woman suffers from a blood disease that causes blood clotting disorders, she may also have light pink menstrual blood, and the bleeding time will be longer, which can easily cause anemia.

The normal color of women's menstrual blood is dark red. If the color of menstrual blood shows light pink, you need to pay more attention, because there may be abnormal conditions in the body, such as anemia, poor blood circulation, etc. These conditions can be treated through some simple methods, but they need to be treated persistently, so that the body's recovery effect will be better. When women have anemia, the color of their menstrual blood is light pink or light red, their menstruation is very scanty, their menstrual period is very short, and they are prone to dizziness. In addition, if a woman has poor blood circulation, she will feel bloated during her period, constipated during her menstrual period, and her menstrual blood will be light pink and sticky. Therefore, if women have pink menstrual blood, they should pay attention and go to the hospital immediately to seek medical treatment, find out the cause and actively treat it.
