Women's ovulation pattern

Women's ovulation pattern

Every healthy woman has menstrual period and ovulation period. We are all relatively familiar with the menstrual period, but the ovulation period is not so clear to everyone. The ovulation period is the most common stage for women to become pregnant. Many couples who are preparing to have a baby will specifically choose to have sex after ovulation. So, does a woman's ovulation occur regularly?

1. Regularity of ovulation cycle

A woman's ovulation period is generally around the 14th day before the next menarche, and the ovulation period is the five days before and four days after ovulation, which is a total of ten days. The probability of pregnancy within these ten days is very high. From a physiological point of view, if a woman's menstrual cycle is relatively regular, about 28 to 30 days, then she should be ovulating every month, and only one egg is ovulated at a time, but pregnancy may not be successful.

2. Ovulation period is affected by various factors

Although from a physiological point of view, women ovulate every month, the ovulation period will be affected by different physical conditions. In addition, the ovulation period is also closely related to the environment, women's mentality, physical condition, sexual life conditions, whether or not to take contraceptives, etc. It is possible that ovulation occurs early or multiple eggs are released at a time, or ovulation is delayed or there is no ovulation temporarily.

3. Calculation method of ovulation period

The ovulation period calculation method is: start counting from the first day of the next menstruation, and count 14 days or subtract 14 days, which is the normal ovulation period of the woman. Then add the ovulation period and the 5 days before and 4 days after it together, which is called the female ovulation period. If female friends want to get pregnant as soon as possible, they need to clearly calculate their ovulation period. Only in this way can they get pregnant and give birth normally.

Tips: Doctors say that for normal female friends of childbearing age, the uterus and ovaries only release one egg cell each month. After being released, the egg cell can survive for about 1 to 2 days. Male sperm can survive in the female reproductive system for about 2 to 3 days. As for fertilization ability, it usually exists within 24 hours after ovulation. If it exceeds 2-3 days, sperm will lose the ability to fuse with egg cells. Therefore, if you have sex 2 to 3 days before ovulation and 1 to 2 days after ovulation, you may become pregnant. This stage is called the fertile period or the dangerous period of pregnancy.
