40 days after transplantation, there is embryo bud but no fetal heartbeat

Nowadays, IVF has become a last resort for infertile patients, and many infertile couples have fulfilled their wishes through IVF. In vitro fertilization is a process in which the egg cell and male sperm are fused in the laboratory to produce a test tube embryo, which is then transferred into the uterus. So how many super geniuses can detect fetal heartbeat during in vitro fertilization?

How many super geniuses can detect fetal heartbeat during IVF?

After doing IVF for 50 years, the fetus had a heartbeat. In vitro fertilization is the use of artificial means to allow eggs and sperm to grow in test tubes, carry out early embryo development, and then transfer them to the pregnant mother's uterus to grow and give birth to a baby. "In vitro fertilization" came about with the development of in vitro fertilization technology. It was first successfully achieved through collaborative research by American gynecologist Patrick Apple Wilpoto and biologist Johnson Apple Edwards.

"Test tube babies" does not mean a baby is really grown in a test tube, but rather a few egg cells are taken from the ovaries, fused with sperm in the laboratory to produce test tube embryos, which are then transferred into the uterus to implant in the mother's uterus, resulting in pregnancy. A normal pregnancy requires the sperm and egg to meet in the fallopian tubes, fuse, and then return to the uterus to become pregnant again.

Cost of IVF

The cost of IVF generally consists of two major parts. One part is the cost of ovulation-inducing drugs. Due to the difference between using imported drugs and domestic drugs, the cost difference can be quite large, ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 yuan, and the general cost is around 5,000 to 10,000 yuan. In addition, the older you are, the larger the dosage and the higher the cost. The other part is the cost of surgery and laboratory operations, which vary depending on the treatment method. It is usually around 10,000 yuan. The total expenditure ranges from over 10,000 to over 30,000 yuan.

The whole process of IVF

"In vitro fertilization" came about with the development of in vitro fertilization technology. It was first successfully achieved through collaborative research by American gynecologist Patrick Apple Wilpoto and biologist Johnson Apple Edwards. The advent of "test tube babies" shocked the global scientific community and was even called a major feat in human reproductive technology. It also opened up a new way to treat infertility. "In vitro fertilization" is to allow sperm and eggs to combine in vitro fertilization to form a sperm-egg combination, and then send it (the new little life in the IVF) to the woman's uterus (embryo egg transplantation), allowing it to grow and develop in the uterus, just like a normal pregnant woman, and get pregnant to full term and give birth to a baby normally. For wives suffering from diseases such as fallopian tube obstruction, surgery can be performed to directly remove intact eggs from the uterus and ovaries. Then, the husband's sperm is mixed in the IVF and allowed to fuse into sperm and egg outside the body. For husbands with few sperm or weak sperm motility, an ultra-fine air straw can be used to select strong sperm from his semen and directly introduce it into the egg to achieve sperm-egg fusion.

After the sperm and egg combine outside the body to produce an early embryo, it can be moved into your wife's uterus. If the wife's uterus is diseased, the early embryo can be transferred into the uterus of a woman who agrees to be a surrogate mother. In this way, the baby will have two mothers, one is the mother who gave him genetic inheritance, and the other is the mother who gave him sex. The development of this technology has brought benefits to couples who can produce normal sperm and eggs but cannot conceive for some reasons. This technology has now been applied in some parts of China. In 1944, foreigners Locke and Menkin made the first attempts in this area. The world's first test-tube baby, Brown Apple Louise, was born at 23:47 on July 25, 1978 at Oldham Hospital in the United States. Since then, this research has developed extremely rapidly, and by 1981 it had spread to more than a dozen countries. Today, the number of people undergoing in vitro fertilization in countries around the world has reached more than a thousand. Several medical academies in my country have started this research, and Beijing Medical University achieved the first success in 1985.
