Will the hairy labia minora heal on its own?

In recent years, the incidence of genital warts has increased. All cases of warty hyperplasia of the female vulva have caused anxiety among patients themselves and concerns among doctors, thus resulting in many disputes. So, are the wart-like growths on women's vulva necessarily genital warts? The answer is of course not. One of the most important conditions is the villous labia minora. Can villous labia minora be cured?

The villous labia minora are multiple, clustered, villous abnormal protrusions that occur on the inner sides of the labia minora on both sides, the vestibule of the vagina, and around the urethral opening. They are evenly distributed, smooth on the surface, non-keratinized, and mucosal in color or dark red. They do not change for a long time and are not prone to hyperplasia. It is recommended to use 5% glacial acetic acid to improve the uncomfortable symptoms, which can be cured after a period of time.

The villous labia minora were previously known as vulvar pseudocondyloma, vulvar papillary hirsutism, and vulvar villous papilloma. Chinese studies in recent years have shown that this condition is neither a sexually transmitted disease nor a tumor, but a genetic mutation within the normal range. In order to avoid mistaking it for a tumor or wart, the name villous labia minora is more appropriate. This condition mainly occurs in married pregnant women aged 20-40, who usually have no history of promiscuity and do not have other sexually transmitted diseases. The disease lasts for a long time, more than half a year, and many women discover it accidentally, such as when washing the vulva with tap water or during obstetrics and gynecology examinations.

It is a disease with multiple, clustered granules and villous abnormal protrusions on the inner side of the labia minora, vaginal vestibule, and around the urethral opening. They are evenly distributed, with a smooth surface, no keratinization, and are mucosal color or dark red. They do not change for a long time and are not easy to proliferate. They will not turn white when rubbed with 5% acetic acid. No special treatment is needed. This condition needs to be distinguished from genital warts, because the latter is a sexual disease. Many women have been misdiagnosed with genital warts and have suffered from reputational ruin, emotional breakdown, family discord, family breakdown and physical pain.

The cause of villous labia minora is not very clear. It may be related to the reflex friction of sexual life or the stimulation of Trichomonas vaginitis secretions. The fact that single girls rarely have villous labia minora is proof of this.
