Uterine cold type menstrual pain is usually related to the body's cold constitution. To relieve this type of menstrual pain, you should pay attention to keeping warm. In winter, you need to wear warm clothes and soak your feet frequently; in summer, be careful not to eat too much cold food, especially one or two weeks before menstruation. Try not to touch cold water during menstruation. If you must wash your hair during menstruation, please dry it as soon as possible after washing.

If there are conditions during menstruation, it is best to rest in the room and avoid excessive fatigue. If you feel abdominal discomfort, you can choose to rest in bed. When you have menstrual pain, choose to sleep on your side, the pain is less than lying flat. But don't keep the same posture for more than two hours without moving, otherwise it will cause blood circulation problems. You can walk around the room every one or two hours.

The most basic way to combat uterine cold type menstrual pain is to place a hand warmer on your lower abdomen to relieve menstrual discomfort. Note that if you are lying flat, there should not be too much water in the hand warmer bag, otherwise your abdomen will be compressed. If you happen to go out, you can prepare a warm baby patch in your bag instead of a hand warmer.

In terms of diet, many people like to drink brown sugar water when they have their period. In fact, the effect of brown sugar ginger water is not as effective as imagined. Ginger is spicier when it is old, and drinking ginger soup is the best way to enjoy it, followed by ginger brown sugar which tastes great.

Acupoint therapy. Before menstruation, you can often massage Sanyinjiao and Xuehai points to regulate your body and prevent menstrual pain. If you want to relieve pain during menstruation, you can massage the Diji point on the inside of the calf. This acupoint is very effective for menstrual pain. In addition, practicing the bound angle pose in yoga is also very beneficial.

If the pain is really unbearable, or the work and study are stressful, you need painkillers. The side effects of painkillers are quite serious, but experiments have shown that if women only take painkillers for one or two days during menstrual pain, such side effects will not cause great harm to the body. It should be noted that there are many types of painkillers, each suitable for different groups. Before taking painkillers, it is best to consult a doctor about the type that suits you.
