The ovulation test paper turned from positive to negative, does it mean ovulation?

Many women do not know when they will ovulate, so more people choose to use ovulation test strips, but many people do not particularly understand ovulation test strips. Ovulation test strips actually detect the luteinizing hormone in our body and then detect whether we are pregnant, but this kind of test is not necessarily accurate and there will be some errors.

Women usually ovulate about 14 days before the next menstrual period. After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1-2 days to wait for fertilization; the male sperm can maintain fertilization ability in the female reproductive tract for 2-3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant by having sex a few days before and after the egg is released. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days, the ovulation period. Because it is easy to get pregnant by having sex during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the easy-to-get pregnant period or the dangerous period.

If the ovulation test paper is strongly positive, it means ovulation within 24-48 hours. After ovulation, the luteinizing hormone drops rapidly and the test turns negative. Because ovulation is affected by many factors, the chances of conception are greater if you have sex on the night of a strong positive test and the next three nights. However, it is worth noting that ovulation does not necessarily lead to successful conception.

When preparing for the test, be careful to avoid drinking too much water. The storage environment of the ovulation test paper is also worth noting. Avoid a humid environment. During the ovulation process, the body temperature will rise, and some transparent mucus will appear in the lower body. This is also one of the evidences to verify whether you are in the ovulation period.
