Menstruation every 24 days makes you age faster

Menstruation every 24 days makes you age faster

All normal women's menstrual periods are regular. The menstrual cycle refers to the time interval from the first day of the previous menarche to the first day of the next menarche. The menstrual cycle can be divided into the follicular phase, ovulation phase, follicular phase, and menstrual phase. The follicular phase refers to the time from the ovulation to the maturity of the egg, the ovulation phase refers to the time when the egg is discharged, and the follicular phase is the time from the egg being discharged from the body to the contraction of the corpus luteum to the onset of menstruation.

So how long is a normal menstrual cycle? Under normal circumstances, the length of the menstrual cycle mainly depends on the length of the follicular phase, and the length of the follicular phase is also affected by many factors such as genetic inheritance, environment, personal physical fitness, and spirit. Therefore, depending on individual circumstances, each person's menstrual cycle will be different. Generally speaking, a woman's menstrual cycle is between 21 and 35 days, with an average of 28 days. In other words, as long as this period is very regular, then the menstrual cycle is between 21-35 days and belongs to the normal range. Otherwise, there may be a problem with the ovaries and you need to seek medical help.

Does less menstrual cycles mean faster decline?

During a woman's lifetime, the number of eggs released is basically fixed, about 400-500. Some women with short menstrual cycles may worry that their short cycles may cause their eggs to decay faster than others after being released early. In fact, no, the egg cells are not gone when they are discharged. There are a large number of primordial eggs in the woman's uterus and ovaries, which are the talent pool of egg cells. Although only one egg is released in each menstrual cycle, in fact there are many eggs being fertilized. Among these eggs, only one egg will eventually become a good ovary, reach maturity and be released as an oocyte, while the others will spontaneously decay.

It can be said that although a woman may only produce 400-500 eggs in her lifetime, this only accounts for 0.1% of the total number of eggs and cannot be confused with the total number of eggs. If your menstrual cycle is a few days shorter than others, it only means that your eggs mature faster, and at most you may have three dozen eggs in a row than others, and there are still enough eggs in your ovaries. Therefore, a short menstrual cycle does not mean that you will definitely use up all your eggs earlier than others. It has no direct relationship with aging, so there is no need to worry too much.

Although there is no direct correlation between menstrual cycle and menopause, the total number of eggs in a woman's body is fixed from birth, and the number of eggs decreases with each menstrual cycle. If for some reason the eggs are exhausted before the age of 40, leading to ovarian failure and natural menopause, in other words, premature ovarian failure, it is best to go to the hospital for medical help as soon as possible.
