Leucorrhea is like pus

Discharge is a weather chart of the health of a woman's urinary system. Under normal circumstances, the secretion is colorless and odorless, but sometimes the secretion will appear color and have an odor. In this case, it means that there is a problem with the woman's secretion and effective treatment is needed in time. This article will explain in detail the reasons why the discharge looks like pus.

Secretion is a key indicator of female reproductive health. Normal leucorrhea is milky white, thin and viscous, and has no odor. If the leucorrhea is thick yellow or emerald green and is often accompanied by symptoms such as general fatigue and low fever, it is likely that you have acute vaginitis or cervicitis. Purulence indicates bacterial infection and you should seek medical attention immediately. If long-term inflammation cannot be controlled, it will cause inflammation to aggravate the infection and even cause other inflammations, leading to serious consequences such as infertility.

Doctors say that yellow pus in leucorrhea is a very abnormal condition and is likely caused by a gynecological disease. The common symptom of cervical erosion in gynecological diseases is yellow pus in leucorrhea. Therefore, if a woman has yellow pus in leucorrhea, she should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible to determine whether she has cervical erosion.

The clinical symptoms of patients with chronic metritis are excessive leucorrhea and yellow pus-like leucorrhea. Due to the different bacteria, scope and degree of inflammation, the amount, color, taste and characteristics of the secretions are also different. It can be milky white mucus, yellow pus, or bloody leucorrhea. When the inflammation spreads along the uterosacral cruciate ligament to the outside of the pelvis, pain in the waist and sacrum, lower abdominal pain, or menstrual pain may occur. It worsens during menstruation, bowel movements or sexual intercourse. Thick leucorrhea is not conducive to the passage of male sperm and can cause infertility. During examination, the cervix can be seen to show varying degrees of erosion, polyps, lacerations, eversion, glandular cysts, hypertrophy and other changes.

If there is yellow pus in the leucorrhea, treatment should be started as soon as possible. Cervical erosion may block the cervical canal due to excessive viscosity of secretions, making it impossible for sperm to rise; or a large number of cells may phagocytize sperm, or severe inflammation may lead to pH imbalance, bacteria and toxins may weaken the motility of sperm, etc., which may affect pregnancy.

The article explains in detail why women's secretions are purulent, yellow, and excessive. As a woman, you must pay close attention to your secretions. If there is a problem with the secretions, you need to take effective measures to treat it in time. Otherwise, if small problems are not handled, it may cause many big problems, and then there will be trouble.
