What causes puerperal infection?

1. Infection

First of all, there are already bacteria in the birth canal and other parts of the pregnant woman, which will cause postpartum infection when the pregnant woman is giving birth. It's just that in the beginning, it always manifests as vaginitis or cervicitis and other diseases, which are not taken seriously by patients.

2. Infection by outsiders

When performing delivery surgery on pregnant women, if the surgical equipment or clothing and other items are contaminated, the pregnant woman may also be infected. Or after the pregnant woman gives birth, if the people she comes into contact with are unclean, etc., these may be the cause of the disease.

3. Pregnant women take too long to give birth

When the delivery time of a pregnant woman is too long, it may also cause puerperal infection. Because when the delivery time of a pregnant woman is prolonged, repeated examinations of the vagina and other items will cause the invasion of pathogens, and eventually cause puerperal infection.
