What to do if women have loose vagina after childbirth

After giving birth, not only will you feel your stomach become looser, but you will also feel that your vagina is looser. Some husbands may feel that during intercourse, the vagina is not as tight as before, which may affect sexual harmony. What should I do if my vagina becomes loose after giving birth?

1. Start moderate vaginal tightening exercises as early as possible. If the birth canal is not damaged, you can start postpartum vaginal tightening exercises as soon as possible according to your own situation, the most common of which is anal lifting exercises;

2. Pay attention to vaginal hygiene after delivery. After giving birth, you will also have to go through a period of lochia. If you do not pay attention to hygiene, it will cause infection during the confinement period and cause gynecological diseases, which will not only affect the physical and mental health of the child, but also affect the postpartum vaginal repair and firmness.

3. Avoid having sex too early. The level of estrogen is low after giving birth, and having sex too early will further harm the vagina that has not yet repaired, thereby affecting postpartum vaginal recovery and even causing tearing and internal bleeding.

Why does the vagina become loose after giving birth? This is because the woman's vagina is composed of vaginal mucosa, vaginal smooth muscle and vaginal connective tissue. During the delivery process, the vagina will expand. Factors such as the fetus being too large, premature delivery, or the pregnant woman using too much force can cause laceration or tearing of the vaginal muscle tissue. Depending on the age of the woman, the vagina can take different amounts of time to recover to its original state. However, if the muscle tear is too large, the estrogen level in the body decreases with age, the vagina's contraction ability weakens, and the ability to contract decreases, then it will not be able to return to normal.

Many pregnant women will experience loose private parts after childbirth. Pregnant women are advised to do some pelvic floor muscle exercises or bladder training to help improve the support of private muscles and pelvic tissue, and help the elasticity of the vagina return to the pre-pregnancy state as soon as possible. In fact, you can persist in doing levator anus exercises, perineum contraction exercises, urination training, etc. every day. You can eat more protein-rich foods in your diet, such as chicken breast, fish, and eggs.
