Brown after menstruation

Brown after menstruation

Menstruation has been with women since they entered puberty, but with the excessive study pressure and heavy burden of women, various menstrual symptoms occur, such as irregular menstrual quality, prolonged or shortened cycle, color change, brown discharge after menstruation, etc. So what is the reason for brown discharge after menstruation?

After a woman's normal menstruation, the secretion is colorless and odorless, and the amount is not large. It usually varies with different stages of the menstrual period. For example, during the ovulation period when the secretion of cervical endometrial gland cells is active, the secretion will increase significantly, and it will be thinner and transparent like egg white, and it will continue to be very thick. It can be pulled to 3 cm long by fingers, and it is not easy to break and has good elasticity. Two to three days before and after the menstrual period, due to congestion in the female pelvis, female secretions increase, and secretions also increase. Usually there will be a little blood. When the female corpus luteum function is insufficient, brown secretions usually appear during the menstrual period.

So what exactly causes this kind of problem? In fact, many reasons may cause a small amount of brown secretions to appear after menstruation, such as insufficient menstruation, the influence of drugs, gynecological inflammation, uterine and ovarian diseases, uterine diseases, mental and natural environment, etc. Naturally, it may also be caused by endocrine imbalance. Endocrine disorders in women can cause changes in the human body that make them feel uncomfortable, and are also the cause of symptoms such as irregular menstruation, abnormal leucorrhea, and functional uterine bleeding. When the above situation occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination immediately.

The brown secretion after menstruation may be due to less bleeding during this period, or it may be caused by cervical erosion. If the secretion is intermittent, it can generally be considered as luteal insufficiency. Luteal insufficiency means that the progesterone is insufficient to metabolize estrogen, and cannot support the adequate growth of the uterine wall during the metabolic period. Secondly, it may be luteal insufficiency, endometrial inflammation, polyps and so on.

I believe that everyone already has a certain understanding of this problem. When brown secretions appear after menstruation, you must pay special attention to it and cannot ignore it. It is best to go to the hospital for a check-up to find out the cause so that you can treat it symptomatically. At the same time, you should also pay attention to replenishing blood and qi in your diet so that the body can recover as soon as possible.
