Diagram of the process of induced labor in four months of pregnancy

It is said that children are the flesh and blood of their mothers. Every mother is caring and considerate to her children, and many women regard being a mother as a very happy thing. When a mother has a problem with her body or the fetus itself during pregnancy, the mother needs to reluctantly abort the fetus, otherwise the fetus will encounter many problems when it is born. Today I will take you to understand the whole process of induced abortion in four months of pregnancy.

First, preparation and inspection before surgery. Induced labor is a surgical procedure that is very harmful to a woman's body, so adequate preparation and inspection are required before the procedure. Preparation includes abstaining from sexual intercourse one week in advance, eating nutritious food, and walking around properly, which will help the successful completion of the abortion. Pre-operative examinations include gynecological examinations such as urine test, B-ultrasound, electrocardiogram, and routine leucorrhea examination. This helps the doctor to fully understand whether the patient is intrauterine pregnant, the cleanliness of leucorrhea, the size of the uterus, and sensitivity to anesthesia.

Second, the entire surgical process. During the abortion operation, the patient needs to wear medical protective clothing and lie on the operating bed with legs apart and fixed on the support frame. The doctor will give the patient anesthesia, so patients who are afraid of pain do not need to worry. After that, the doctor will use a puncture device to introduce the medicine into the patient's amniotic cavity by piercing the patient's abdominal cavity. These medicines will stimulate uterine contraction and cause the fetus to be discharged from the patient's body within 36 hours. After the operation, the patient does not have to leave the hospital immediately, but must stay in the hospital for observation for two hours before leaving.

Third, the entire process and recovery after surgery. The postoperative induced abortion surgery has not been completed yet because the baby has not been expelled from the body. Within 36 hours, the patient will feel the fetus being expelled from the body, and then the patient is advised to go to the hospital for a follow-up visit to prevent any residue in the uterus and the need for a curettage. After the induction process is completed, what the patient needs most is rest and nutrition. Although induced abortion means miscarriage, it still consumes the same energy as childbirth and the pain experienced is more severe than childbirth. Therefore, the patient's nutrition must be kept up after abortion. Do not do heavy physical work or have sexual intercourse within one month, and be careful not to catch cold.

Generally speaking, induced abortion is a surgical treatment that is more harmful to women's bodies. Except for some problems that are not detected until the late stage, if the patient is pregnant but does not plan to have the child, she must go to the hospital for an abortion as soon as possible. Otherwise, induced abortion will not only harm one's own health, but also easily cause the mother to feel guilty about having this child. Furthermore, I hope that every patient will choose a reliable hospital for treatment when they have to have an induced abortion, so that they can complete the operation successfully and bear the responsibility for themselves.
